How to Burn AVCHD to DVD?
AVCHD (Advanced Video Coding High Definition is a HD video format for recording HD video. it was co-developed by Sony and Panasonic. AVCHD has been designed to be compatible with Blu-ray format. It means that you can burn AVCHD to Blu-ray DVD directly with DVD authoring software, though not all Blu-ray Disc players are compatible with AVCHD discs. However, standard DVD still dominated entire DVD world, it's cheap to buy a blank standard DVD disc (while HD DVD costs about $10 for each), and most of family have the DVD payer.
The following step by step guide shows you how to convert AVCHD to DVD and burn AVCHD to DVD (DVD +R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW) for backup, enhancement or playback on traditional TV sets and home DVD players.

Step 1. Download and Install Video Converter Ultimate
Download Video Converter Ultimate and install it. Below is the main interface:

Step 2. Import AVCHD Video Files
Click the "Add" button to load AVCHD files from your computer hard drive. Or you can simply drag the files into the application (multiple AVCHD video files can be added at a time).
Step 3. Burn AVCHD to DVD
After the AVCHD files are imported, click
to go to the "Burn to DVD" window, where you can choose a menu template, set background picture/music, etc for the output.
Click "Next" to make further DVD burning settings. You can choose to burn to DVD drive (insert a DVD disc first), burn to ISO file or burn to DVD folder. You can also specify the output path for the ISO file or DVD folder, choose TV Stardand (NTSC or PAL), Aspect Ratio, etc for the output. Besides, the software will estimate result file volume for you. Click "Start" and the whole DVD burning progress gets started.
The burning status will be clearly shown in the progress bar. After the whole burning process, you can get the output file and start to enjoy your favorite AVCHD movies on a DVD player.
